At Almondz we firmly believe that giving back to community is as important as any other function we perform as an enterprise. Our CSR efforts are aimed at community engagement with a view to give back in a way that makes a meaningful impact. One of our biggest achievements has been the success with which we have been able to foster this belief in all our employees. We encourage and support our employees to use their time and talent for the betterment of causes near and dear to their hearts. Our support for each cause embraces the technological advancements that have the potential of bringing about a larger change. We currently support four of the largest concerns that our fellow Indian’s face.

Dev Eye Foundation (DEF)

Established in 2014 with an aim to provide quality eye care services to the people in rural and urban slum areas. As an accessible eye care is a fundamental requirement for all, those with visual impairments are more likely to fall victim to economic challenges and adversities. Dev Eye Foundation (DEF) is committed to provide free services to those at the fringes of healthcare.

The Foundation is registered under Society Registration Act, 1860 having Income Tax exemption. The Foundation mission is to contribute in Vision 2020 by eradicating curable blindness amongst poor & needy. DEF is running independent Eye Centre in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh with 3000 sq.ft area providing Cataract, Squint, Glaucoma, Refraction, and other related services.

Shradha Cancer Trust

Ganga Prem Hospice, set up in 2005 by Shradha Cancer Trust, is a spiritually orientated, non-profit hospice for terminally ill cancer patients especially those who are abandoned by their family members. The Hospice has been constructed on the bank of the river Ganga. The Trust has been set up Dr. A.K. Dewan, Senior Cancer Surgeon at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Research Institute, Delhi, having more than 34 years of experience in cancer treatment. The Hospice provides medical, emotional and spiritual support for individuals and their grieving families.

The staff includes cancer specialists, palliative care specialists, visiting professionals from holistic care systems and a variety of other health care professionals such as physiotherapists, dieticians and specialists in complementary medicine techniques including massage, yoga and aromatherapy etc. Currently the hospice has 15 beds while 10 more are planned in a future West Wing. The hospice has a temple, library, a meditation and prayer room as well as a T.V. and recreation room, kitchen and canteen, and staff and volunteer quarters. The Hospice also has mortuary facilities as well.

Child Care & Development Foundation

Child Care & Development Foundation (CCDF), is a not for profit, non-government, voluntary organisation committed to the care & development of the underprivileged children. The organisation was founded to support the most economically disadvantaged and vulnerable children by facilitating access to education, vocational training and special skill development. It is dedicated to the creation of a society in which each child has equal opportunities, and a conducive environment to grow up with love, respect & security. CCDF environs as future where these children are not only self-reliant but also active participants and contributing members of the community, society & country as a whole. It actively works for and supports the socio-economic change among the underprivileged children & families to improve their quality of life.

Radha Madhav Centre for Social & Cultural Development Trust

Radha Madhav Centre is a Public Charitable Trust established in 2004. The main objective of the trust is to perform activities that are beneficial for Social & Cultural Development of society. The Trust is actively engaged in programs that provide financial support to underprivileged families, facilitating their children’s educational endeavours to enable them to achieve better education and grow to be productive members of society and the country as a whole. The Trust is also operates free medical dispensaries in Vrindavan and Goverdhan districts of Mathura, Uttar Pradesh for the poor.
